Yes, we did it. We took the plunge and got married on our very own property. It was a risk in doing so and we didn't sleep for three years, but we are glad we did it! We got married in the hay field of Birch Bark Farm on a beautiful (not too hot and not too cold) sunny day in September! The reception followed in our large red barn that we cleaned out completely. This is the barn we now use to board horses. We made and did almost everything ourselves, with the help of close family and friends. We even used all local produce for the meal! We have a variety of antique windows, doors, barrels, ladders, barn board signs, antique trunks and wagon wheels, just to name a few!
